“Certainty” is a booklet that questions the often ignored filters through which we all view the world. The booklet overlays two seemingly polar “creeds”—in this case science and religion—that can be revealed by looking through a red or cyan filter. By viewing each creed individually the reader can judge the similarities or dissimilarities between the two views.

The typeface has been designed specifically for this booklet to combine the religious connotations of a Gutenberg blackletter and the rationalist philosophy of a modern typeface like Bodoni.
