When asked to undertake a typographical project where I would have the freedom to "develop my own brief", I responded to this serious request with a crap joke and designed my own typographical briefs.

So behold…

A line of alphabetical accoutrements!

A crap joke is a serious business, and these undies are constructed within rigid limitations.

For ease of sewing, each letter is constructed by combining arcs which begin and end at either leg seam or the waist-band.

The colours for fabric and seam are chosen match a word that starts with that letter. This word is then illustrated on the back.
